Our resort at the Lake of the Ozarks is tucked back on the quiet Little Niangua, the resort is located on a point of flat ground and surrounded by 800 feet of shoreline. Well-manicured and easy to navigate, you can experience the lake your way. Gradually sloping sandy beaches allow you to swim and float with ease. Those who want a little more adventure can jump right in off the swimming dock, or play on the huge water trampoline. A: Because of our launch location, we can only launch boats up to 22 ft. If you have a bigger boat we can help you arrange a place close by to launch your boat. We have 18 covered slips available to rent, some of which will house a boat up to 30 feet. All the slips are well maintained, with newer bumpers.
Q: Do you rent boats at the resort?
A: We have well maintained 16-foot aluminum fishing boats with 15hp and 25hp electric start motors for rent. If you are looking for something bigger, we can help you make an arrangement with local boat rental companies.
Q: Do you have a heated fishing dock? Can I use it if I’m not staying at the resort?
A: We have a two-well heated fishing dock that is available only for our guests.
Q: Do the docks have electricity?
A: Yes, we have 220V outlets throughout the docks, including in the fishing dock.
Q: Do I need a fishing license to fish at the resort?
A: Missouri requires everyone over 15 and under 65 to have a fishing license. We can help you buy your license online and print it right at the resort.
Q: What kind of fish can you catch around the resort?
A: The most common fish are crappie, white bass, catfish, spoonbill, and bluegill. But there are many other kinds of fish in the lake. We keep well-maintained crappie beds under our docks to make sure the fish are plentiful. We also have three fish-cleaning stations for your convenience.
Q: Do you sell bait?
A: We keep a small supply of minnows on hand for fishing at the resort. If you are going to need a large quantity to take out on the lake with you, there are several bait shops near-by.
Q: Where is the resort located on the lake?
A: Point View Resort is located 6 miles upstream from the 31mm of the main channel. This area is considered the “clean, clear waters” side of the lake where you can easily enjoy boating, fishing, swimming and water sports.
A: No. While our grounds are very level for the area, and are well groomed, the natural landscape is rocky and can be uneven. We recommend everyone use caution as they move around the grounds.
Q: What dry recreation do you have onsite?
A: We have a number of outdoor recreational games available for our guests including Corn Hole, Ladder Ball, Yardzee, and Shuffleboard. We also have a fire pit to gather around in the evening. Watch for our recreation center coming soon with a pool table, air hockey table, and other indoor fun.
Q: Do you have a swimming pool?
A: We do not have a pool, but we have two manicured sandy beaches that slope gradually into the lake, providing easily accessible, excellent swimming. We also have a swim platform and a huge water trampoline to provide even more water fun.
Q: Do you have lifeguards?
A: No. All units are located very near the lake. Please ensure you have the proper water safety devices and that children are properly supervised. There are no lifeguards on duty, so all water activities are at your own risk.
Q: Do you have an air compressor for inflatable toys?
A: Yes, and it is free of charge for our guests to use.
Q: Do you have ice available for sale on the resort?
A: Yes, we have a stocked ice machine and ice is available for $2.00 per bag.
A: All reservations require a non-refundable deposit. You may cancel a reservation up to 60 days prior to the check-in date with no additional fee. If you cancel less than 60 days prior to check-in you are responsible for the full reservation amount (minus any deposit), which will be billed to your card on file. Please call the resort at 573-873-5340 to change or cancel your reservation. We will work with you to find a new reservation date.
Q: What time is check-in and check-out?
A: Check-in time is 2pm and Check-out is 10am. While we can usually offer early check-ins, space constraints do not allow late check-outs.
Q: What is the minimum stay?
A: During the summer peak season all rentals are by the week, from Saturday to Saturday. During the off-peak seasons the minimum stay is 2 nights.
Q: Do you charge for extra people?
A: All cabins are priced for 4 people during peak season and 2 people off-peak. Each additional person is $12.00 per day. Cabins may be occupied only by the number of people registered at check-in.
Q: Do you charge a cleaning fee?
A: No, cleaning the room and laundering linen is included in the nightly fee. However, guests are expected to treat the property respectfully and will be charged for any excessive damage. Please notify the management immediately if there is damage, unsafe conditions, or any other defect in the unit.
Q: Do you accept credit cards?
A: Yes. We accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and American Express.
Q: Do you provide linens?
A: Yes, all bed, bath, and kitchen linens are provided for use in the cabin. Please bring your own beach towels or blankets for outside use.

A: No. Pets are not allowed in any of our units or on the grounds.
